Entrepreneurship

When it comes to entrepreneurship, the northeast has a long and distinguished history. From agriculture to specialty foods and from tourism to technology, our region is home to thousands of creative and innovative individuals. In order to ensure that self-employment and entrepreneurship remain a vital part of our regional economic development there is a need for education, technical assistance and research. We are fortunate to have many innovative programs in our region working with entrepreneurs of all ages, stages, and business types. works with our land grant universities and other key partners across the region and nationally to pursue cutting edge research, develop educational resources and provide training designed to help individuals and communities understand the impacts of entrepreneurship and how to best leverage our efforts for continued economic development.
