| Despite
the similarity of land use issues across states in the region, there
has not been enough sharing and communication between the states about
land use extension programs, particularly by county-level extension
staff. The Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development is hosting
a multi-state hands-on workshop for extension faculty and staff working
on land use issues, to nurture such sharing and communication. At
the workshop, participants will share program ideas, learn more about
the land use educational programming in other northeast states, identify
common programming needs, and find ways of supporting each other and
working together. |
