    The Business and Industry Association is a trade association composed of companies from New Hampshire's manufacturing, service, banking, insurance, health care, tourism, wood products, utility, telecommunications, education, and high technology sectors.     GRANIT (Geographically Referenced Analysis and Information Transfer System) is New Hampshire's statewide geographic information system database, operating as a collaborative effort between the University of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Office of State Planning. GRANIT develops and maintains the state geographic database, and offers services including application development, training, and related technical services. The web site offers information about GRANIT, its services, and purposes, including news, glossaries, and links to other informational sites. It includes information about current and past projects, including maps. It also allows users to access data, create maps, and order prepackaged datasets.

    The North Country Council is a nonprofit agency assisting governmental and non-governmental agencies in regional planning. It serves communities in the northern half of the state, offering services including information, regional advocacy, technical assistance, and community education.     The Southwest Region Planning Commission serves 36 towns in the southwestern part of the state.
