An opportunity for Northeast researchers and extension professionals to network and sketch out a multi-state land use research and extension programming plan of work.

1:00 - 5:15 NEELUN as an institutional starting place
   
1:00 - 1:30 Progress report on 2004 NEELUN proposal
   
1:30 - 3:30 Building for the future and identification of the various components: NEELUN; proposed Land Use Policy, Research and Outreach Consortium; administrative structure; action steps and assignments.
Coffee break will be included
   
3:30 - 4:45 Extension/research programming vis-a vis fund development in our results-oriented environment.
 
  • Will clear demonstration of impacts lead to funding support?
    What is the research base that supports the claims we are making about our land use programming?
    What is the public value of our land use programming?
