Delaware Geographic Data Committee

Description: The Delaware Geographic Data Committee is a cooperative effort among state agencies, the University of Delaware, county and municipal governments, and others to build a Delaware GIS Community and improve the coordination of the use of GIs and spatial data in Delaware.

Delaware River Basin Commission

Description: A breakthrough in water resources management occurred in 1961 when President Kennedy and the governors of Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York for the first time signed concurrent compact legislation into law creating a regional body with the force of law to oversee a unified approach to managing a river system without regard to political boundaries.

Office of State Planning Coordination

The Office of State Planning Coordination works to make sure that planning efforts at all levels of government are coordinated and integrated with one another and to ensure that all have access to planning-related information.
