New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority
New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority, http://www.nhcdfa.org/

Description: The Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) was established by legislation (RSA 162-L) in 1983 to address the issues of affordable housing and economic opportunity for low and moderate income New Hampshire residents. The Authority is both a body politic and a nonprofit corporation that is governed by an eleven member board of directors who are appointed by the governor for five year terms. The Authority provides financial and technical assistance to community development corporations, worker cooperatives, and certain municipal entities.
