
Penn State Spring 2026 Land-Use Webinar Series announced

The Penn State Extension Land Use Webinar Series, organized in partnership with the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association (PA-APA) and the NERCRD, is a series of monthly on land use topics affecting the communities of Pennsylvania. This series benefits landowners/managers, farmers, elected and appointed officials, developers, and community members who are involved in decision-making processes regarding using or preserving natural resources and the commonwealth’s land base. The 2026 series line-up includes:
- January 21 – Planning for Intergenerational Communities
- February 18 – From Data to Action: Using Community Report Cards for Equitable Land Use Planning
- March 18 – Planning for Community Food Access: Community Gardens, Farmers Markets, and Food Systems
- April 15 – Community Development Essentials: A Process Before a Plan
- May 20 – Rural Housing Affordability and Livability in PA
