2026 Northeast Housing Summit

The NERCRD has convened a multi-state team to plan a Northeast Housing Summit, which will take place virtually on September 15 or 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM ET.  This page will be updated regularly as more information becomes available.

The planning committee is pleased to announce a call for presentation proposals, which will remain open through July 6, 2026. 

The Northeast Housing Summit will provide an opportunity for participants across the Northeast region to learn from one another and expand capacity for housing programming in the Northeast. Sessions will include presentations from NERCRD on rural housing affordability, a panel on workforce housing, and a mapping demonstration to explore the spatial relationships between land value, housing, and surrounding socioeconomic and environmental conditions.
